M&M’s is introducing a new flavor innovation with M&M’s Peanut Butter & Jelly, marking the iconic chocolate brand’s first new flavor since 2022. The twist on the classic sandwich spread favorite will be available in December at retailers nationwide and online. Known for its chocolate filling, M&M’s has been expanding its presence in peanut butter, with offerings such as Minis, Mega, and the classic candy. The average person consumed 4.4 pounds of peanut butter in 2023, according to data cited by the National Peanut Board. M&M’s, which traces its roots back to 1941, has rolled out numerous new flavors over the years, including caramel, almond, pretzel, and limited-edition options like Pumpkin Pie.

Kit Kat is launching a vanilla-flavored version of its popular confection to cater to the 89% of consumers who like or love the vanilla flavor. The new Kit Kat Vanilla features a vanilla flavored crème coating in place of the traditional chocolate coating. The brand has previously introduced limited-time flavors like Pink Lemonade, Chocolate Frosted Donut, Churro, Birthday Cake, and Blueberry Muffin, aiming to attract new consumers, particularly millennial and Gen Z shoppers. The introduction of new flavors complements the classic milk chocolate offering and fosters excitement around the Kit Kat brand. Hershey holds the license to make and distribute Kit Kat in the U.S. from Nestlé.

Good Good, a brand known for its naturally sweetened jams and jellies, is launching a Chili Fig Jam with a hint of red chili flakes and 70% figs, offering a healthier alternative with no added sugar. The brand’s founders started by creating a stevia and erythritol blend to replace sugar, expanding into jams and becoming the fastest-growing jam brand in the U.S. The new Chili Fig Jam will be featured in a Holiday Bundle, catering to consumers looking to limit their sugar intake amidst growing concerns about sugar consumption globally.
