7-Eleven, Inc., based in Irving, Tex., recently launched a new energy drink called 7-Select Fusion Energy and introduced a new product called 7-Select Rehydrate this August. The 20oz 7-Select Rehydrate offers a blend of five electrolytes and vitamins and comes in Cherry, Fruit Punch, and Grape flavors. According to Nikki Boyers, vice president of Private Brands at 7-Eleven, these beverages are designed to cater to the needs of customers who are always on the move.

Prickly Pear Cactus

Pricklee LLC, located in New York, N.Y., was selected as one of the eight finalists for PepsiCo Inc.’s Juntos Crecemos Greenhouse Accelerator Program. Pricklee produces a natural Hydration beverage made from real prickly pear cactus, sourced from Mexico, which is rich in electrolytes, antioxidants, and vitamin C. This low-sugar beverage uses 80% less irrigation than traditional crops, providing consumers with a sustainable refreshment option.

The finalists of the program met mentors at a launch event at Frito-Lay headquarters in Plano, Tex., where they received support from PepsiCo experts in various fields. At the end of the five-month program, one finalist will receive an additional $100,000 to accelerate their business growth.

Watermelon Infused Lemonade

Caribe Juice Inc., located in Charlottesville, Va., has expanded its WTRMLN watermelon juice brand with a new product called WTRMLN ADE. This cold-pressed lemonade combines the Hydration of real watermelon with the refreshing taste of lemonade. With no added sugar and half the calories of traditional lemonade, WTRMLN ADE comes in Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade, and Limeade flavors.

Luis Solis, CEO of Caribe Juice, highlights the natural benefits of watermelon, such as electrolytes, potassium, L-Citrulline, and lycopene, making it a healthy and hydrating option for consumers.

Hydration with Added Benefits

JUNO Products LLC, based in Tenafly, N.J., has introduced three drinks that combine Hydration with additional benefits for energy or relaxation. The Rocket variety provides sustained energy and Hydration with organic green coffee bean extract, Celtic salt, calcium, and potassium. Cruise is an all-day Hydration drink packed with essential vitamins, while Descend combines Hydration with magnesium and glycine for calming effects.

Mineral Salt Beverage

Cadence, a ready-to-drink mineral salt beverage, was launched by entrepreneurs Ross MacKay and George Heaton. The electrolyte drink features a formulation of mineral salts including sodium chloride, magnesium lactate, and potassium chloride. Cadence is a zero-calorie, all-natural beverage available in citrus flavor sweetened with REB-M Stevia plant-based sweetener.

Healthy Hydration

Nutrishop Inc., based in Henderson, Nev., has introduced a Hydration mix called SALTHEAD from Xcelerated Performance Products. This mix contains Pink Himalayan salt, choline bitartrate, and ionic trace minerals to support internal bodily processes. SALTHEAD comes in Salty Watermelon and Salty Raspberry flavors.

Quick Hydration Mix

Designs for Health, Inc., located in Palm Coast, Fla., has added Hydration Packs to its Designs for Sport supplement line. This clementine-flavored electrolyte drink mix is sweetened with stevia and monk fruit, with balanced ingredients to replenish electrolytes. The packs include zinc, D-ribose, and 444% of the daily recommended vitamin C for optimal muscle function and energy production.

Hydration for Weight Loss

SoWell Services Inc., based in New York, N.Y., has introduced a supplement system specifically designed for individuals on a GLP-1 weight loss journey. SoWell Electrolytes is a daily electrolyte formula that helps maintain healthy Hydration levels and addresses side effects like nausea and fatigue. With a natural flavor and zero sugar, this blend provides targeted ingredients like vitamin B6 and trace minerals to support GLP-1 users.
