Little Leaf Farms, a brand of packaged lettuce sustainably grown through controlled environment agriculture (CEA), has introduced a new Sesame Ginger variety to its popular Salad Kits line. This new addition joins the previously launched Crispy Caesar and Southwest varieties in 2023. The Crispy Caesar variety has become the top-selling CEA salad kit in the Northeast1, with Little Leaf Farms Salad Kits now leading in sales for CEA salad kits in New England.

The Sesame Ginger Salad Kit features Little Leaf Farms’ beloved Baby Crispy Green Leaf lettuce, along with Thai seasoned wonton strips, sliced almonds, toasted quinoa and sesame ginger dressing. This convenient and flavor-packed meal is perfect for any time of day.

Little Leaf Farms prides itself on producing greens that are free from harmful chemical pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides. Their hands-free process from seeding to harvesting to packaging ensures the freshest and crispiest lettuce possible, delivered from greenhouse to grocery store within about 24 hours.

This new Salad Kit variety is part of Little Leaf Farms’ continued growth. The company recently opened a new greenhouse at its McAdoo, Pa., location, expanding its retail presence to nearly 5,000 grocery stores across the Northeast, Midwest, and Southeast regions.

Little Leaf Farms Sesame Ginger Salad Kits can be found in select grocery stores in the Northeast, available in 6.5oz packages with a suggested retail price of $4.99.
