During this autumn season, Barilla®, known for their pasta, has introduced three new varieties of Pesto sauces that aim to spark creativity in the kitchen. These new Pesto flavors are exclusively available at Kroger and uphold Barilla’s commitment to quality and precision.
The latest additions to Barilla’s Pesto range offer a rich blend of flavors. Each variant brings an authentic taste of Italy to a variety of dishes, including pasta, paninis, crostini, pizza, poultry, seafood, and more. Barilla Pesto can be enjoyed straight from the jar, without the need for heating or cooking, to elevate any meal. These new flavors complement Barilla’s existing Pesto portfolio, which includes Rustic Basil and Creamy Genovese.
– Creamy Tomato Pesto: This smooth combination of sun-ripened tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, and Grana Padano and Pecorino Romano cheeses enhances the flavors of pasta and breads with an Italian flair.
– Sweet and Spicy Pepper Pesto: A velvety blend of freshly grated Italian cheeses, red peppers, and chili peppers creates a delightful mild heat that will tantalize your taste buds.
– Vegan Pesto: A creamy, vegan option made from 100% Italian basil with no cheese, offering vibrant flavor and a smooth texture for those with dietary preferences or sensitivities.
These Pesto flavors will be exclusively available at Kroger stores starting in October, with wider distribution at major retailers planned for 2025, at a suggested retail price of $3.99.
